Nokia 8800 for CNN featuring Ryuichi Sakamoto

To launch a global advertorial campaign for a stunningly designed mobile phone, we featured one of the world's most famous composer/musician, Mr. Ryuichi Sakamoto. We took a leaf from the tagline -- 'Designed for the Senses' to build on the idea of what inspires this Academy Award-winning composer and how he in turn, inspires others. Shot entirely in his New York studio, the campaign comprised of three print ads, two 30 sec TV commercials and online banners. The TV spots were also localised for certain key markets such as Taiwan, which had Chinese subtitles.
